Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Alanis Morissette mentioned that she became a U.S. citizen this year. Congratulations, Alanis. Jimmy asked her which side she would fight on if Canada and the U.S. went to war. She said Canada. Fair enough...as long as we don't make her the secretary of Homeland Security because, although I'm not an expert, it seems like entrusting the nation's security to someone with a dual-citizenship wouldn't be prudent.
