I just escaped that city. My ridiculous MIL proved she is especially f*ed in the head this holiday season. Despite my growing desire to have her sedated and her vocal cords removed just before she is placed in a mental institution, I took the high road and ever-reluctantly endured Christmas dinner at her house, along with the crack whore she is 'ministering' to and taking to church every Sunday. Her incessant yammering was bolder than usual. The highlights she shared were about how poor, dear Victoria was yanked off the plane by those liberals who run the airport (??); how PBS is liberal trash and should no longer be allowed to broadcast as a public station; and how poor Tom Delay is being setup by godless liberals. After all, TD has "sat 3 pews" behind her at her church "during at least 4 sermons this past month." I was forced to pipe up and inform Babs that when a 'church' is located in a sports arena, one can no longer refer to the stadium seating as, pews.
